Winter Footing Challenges

Good morning! Although we are currently dealing with above-average temperatures and spring-like weather, we know it won't last long. One of the hardest parts about managing turnout during the winter months is the changing ground conditions.

However, winter weather can sometimes create hazardous footing, especially for older, arthritic horses. It might be wise to change your turnout routines or keep your horses in for the day if your pastures have any of these conditions"
